Mahsa Pakravan is an ethnomusicologist, art educator, and music entrepreneur based in Toronto, Canada, where she has been working closely with middle eastern artists residing in the diaspora. Mahsa holds a PhD in Music from the University of Alberta, and an MA in Art Studies and BA in Music from the University of Tehran. Her PhD research explores issues of sound and space in articulating sense(s) of identity. Exploring diverse multidisciplinary approaches, Mahsa designs workshops and creative curriculum with a focus on inclusive education.

The Orff philosophy combines the elements of speech, rhythm, movement, dance, and song and provides children with the opportunity to learn new concepts through exploring and improvising.
This research-based program empowers parents and caregivers to take on an active role toward educating their children and they can also converse in the mother tongue while playing.
