Narges Mirnezhad

Woman in white dress kneeling on decorated cloth against dark background.

Bio

Focusing on the details of her daily life, Narges narrates delicate stories about individuals' loneliness and their confusions in the chaotic world. Her subjects often emerge from familiar corners and peoples, including women of her country, showcasing the perspectives of contemporary art created by Iranian artists. Through her work, she expresses a profound desire for freedom and peace, while inviting her audience to look deeper. Narges challenges their minds to reconsider complex concepts such as human existence, religious beliefs, and politics, much like what is explored in various art exhibitions and art workshops.

Education

Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Tehran, with a strong background in contemporary art. I also studied at the University of Art and Architecture in Tehran, where I participated in various art workshops. Additionally, I hold a Bac+4 in plastic arts from the University of Strasbourg, where art exhibitions played a significant role in my artistic development and connection with fellow Iranian artists.
